All aboard the Tea Party express! It’s due to arrive in DC September 12th and if all goes according to plan, Sara Palin will be on board. It appears that Sarah Palin has emerged as the “favorite daughter” of the Tea Party movement. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/. Organizers have issued a formal invitation to Palin hoping she will either climb aboard the bus or join them in DC. According to CNN.com:
So far, no politician has emerged as a leader of the Tea Party movement – and the question of just who might eventually take up the mantle is a hot topic on the bus. Nobody may be better positioned than Palin — but organizers, some of the most motivated members of the conservative base, still say she’ll need to earn that title.
Whatever the outcome, the invitation alone from a well supported campaign adds to Palin’s image as the current leader in a yet as defined field of 2012 presidential hopefuls.
